PRAGUE – VIENNA – SALZBURG – BUDAPEST

Day 1.   Prague
Arrive in Prague. Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Prague

Day 2.  Prague
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for sightseeing tour of Prague. ( ca. 3.5 hrs).Walking tour.
It introduces Prague as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its history and architecture over a thousand years.
We will visit the Old Town (Stare Mesto),  the Republic Square (Namesti Republiky)
one of the oldest towers of Prague called Powder Tower, the Municipal House (the highlight of Art Nouveau buildings in Prague), Wenceslas Square built by Charles IV and the famous Old Town Square (Old Town Square) surrounded by interesting streets.
In the square we will see the Church of Our Lady of Tyn, Church of St. Nicholas and the Old Town Hall. This building  in the Old Town Square attracts more looks for their impressive Prague Astronomical Clock.
Before coming to the Charles Bridge we will see the Clementinum, the second largest city complex behind the Prague Castle.

Free time to enjoy the Prague Castle or the Cathedral of St. Vitus.
Prague Castle is considered the largest medieval fortress in the world.
It has been a resident of the kings of Bohemia for many years.
And the Cathedral of San Vito is the largest Gothic building in Prague, a monument built over six centuries and located in the castle complex.

Optional visit to the so-called Golden Lane which is a short, narrow and beautiful street inside Prague Castle. It owes its name to the goldsmiths that lived in the seventeenth century. At house number 22 lived Franz Kafka, one of the most influential writers of the twentieth century, between 1916 and 1917.

Day 3. Prague
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure on tour  to the city of the hot springs, Karlovy Vary . (9 hrs apprx.) The Karlovy Vary spa town with its healing waters.

Its history dates back to the fourteenth century, and its hot springs enjoyed such characters as the great German poet Goethe and Czar Peter I.of  Russia.

The fame of Karlovy Vary also contributed making Moser glass, porcelain andherbal liquor Becherovka. You will discover with our guide the charming historic center
the city with its typical colonnades and the famous geyser with a height of 17 meters.
Back to Prague in the afternoon.
In the afternoon departure to go to the Black Theatre – Ta Fantastika presentation “Alice in Wonderland”
Overnight in Prague.

Day 4. Prague – Vienna (331km)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, departure to the train station to take train to Vienna. (RailJet)
Arrival in Vienna. Transfer to the hotel.
We begin to know the capital of Austria, Vienna city reputed to be imperial, one of the most expensive in Europe, the most comfortable place to live …

Day 5. Vienna
Breakfast at the hotel
Panoramic city tour. In the morning departure to sightseeing  the Austrian capital. To see the “Ringstrasse” where you can admire many magnificent buildings as the MAK, the State Opera, imposante Museum of Fine Arts with famous art collections of the Habsburgs and the Museum of Natural Sciences, the center Cultural Museums Quartier, the Hofburg which was the imperial winter residence, Parliament, City Hall and the National Theatre. Visit the lavish rooms once inhabited by Maria Theresa  at Schönbrunn Palace.
We pass the Belvedere Palace, former residence of Prince Eugene, which houses the  largest and most valuable collection in the world of Gustav Klimt. In the afternoon  time to explore the city, riding on one of the famous carriages through the streets of the center, called “Fiaker”

Day 6.  Vienna / Salzburg
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Salzburg. Arrival at hotel and check in.

Day 7.  Salzburg
Breakfast at hotel
Departure to sightseeing. Walking tour.

A tour around the old town will show you all the most important sights of this noble city, seat of the archbishop-princes. You will take in the Cathedral, the Festival Theater, and St Peter’s Church and graveyard.  You will also visit the archbishops’ residence and the house Mozart was born in.

Day 8. Salzburg – Budapest
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the train station and departure to Budapest.(RailJet)

Day 9.   Budapest
Breakfast at the hotel
Departure for sightseeing tour.
During the tour will visit the Castle district of Buda with Matthias Church and the Fishermen Bastion, on the Pest side will cross the Andrassy avenue to reach the Heroes Square, we shall see the Opera (exterior), the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Szechenyi baths and the Parliament (exterior).

Free afternoon to enjoy the city or shopping.

Night cruise on the Danube river. An opportunity to see all the illuminated monuments along the river.

Overnight in Budapest

Day 10. Budapest / Airport
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport. End of our service.
